Well the big day is coming up! What day is that you ask? It’s the three year anniversary of the birth of Maxmedia Digital Network which is now known as Maxmedia Creates.
This anniversary is very special to me as 8 out of 10 start-up businesses fail within the first 18 months. With our amazing team, the hard work, and the dedication each and every member of Maxmedia puts in, we’ve sailed way past that mark and have become a major player in the Central Florida marketing scene. Now for a bit of history on how this all came about!
After selling our Maxmedia Outdoor digital billboard inventory, it was time for something new and fun. I had always been fascinated with the agency world, the ever-evolving culture, and the kind of clients companies worked with. With that being said, I was very lucky to have two great friends that were proficient in specific marketing genres. After discussing the pro’s and con’s of the industry over a “couple of cocktails” with Marti Ruiz (Maxmedia Director of Operations) and Dante Funari (Maxmedia Director of Web-Design), we decided to take the leap into the unknown. I’m not going to lie, things were very difficult in the beginning as we were unknowns in the local market and we were still trying to figure out each individual’s roles, strengths, and weaknesses. These are issues that most if not every new business deals with. We powered through it and have grown into a major player in the industry. We love what we do, who we work with, and each other! The possibilities are endless as we continue our expansion in the industry! 2018 has been a big year thus far for us as we’ve moved operations into a beautiful and “bigger” space in Downtown Orlando. The team is growing and the client roster is growing exponentially. I know my Dad is smiling down on us damn proud of the Maxmedia evolution. This one’s for you Pops!

I’m writing this on the plane ride home from my overseas trip, where I got to experience the cultural similarities between neighboring island countries: Japan and the Philippines. With a time zone difference and 1,900 miles between them, these countries have shown me...
